Its official, the boys are two months old!! Actually, I think they are 61 days, but who is counting, hehe. We are! They had a quiet night tonight. They both had their shots today. They finish the last dose at 2 am tonight. I can't believe they are getting so big already. Just another two months, and hopefully they will be on their way home to us!
Patrick
Patrick was having a quiet night which was good. He was high on his O2 tonight at 36% which we don't like, but his mask wasn't really giving him a good seal. Once the seal was fixed, his O2 was turned down to 29%. He seemed to be doing okay when we left.He was getting 24 ml of food tonight. Craig was able to feed him. He did well off of his mask during hands on. We didn't attempt kangaroo time tonight just in case it stressed him out. His O2 was high enough as it was.
You can finally see my face!
Look at that belly!
Eating with my daddy :)
Brady
Brady was also having a quiet night, which was good. We didn't kangaroo tonight, but we did swaddle. He seemed to do really well with it actually. He only "Dsated" at the end a little bit. During the feed part of it he did very well. He is getting 25 ml of food. We were quite surprised when we opened his blanket because he had clothes on! Craig yelled over to me and said "He has a little outfit!" He looked so cute. It was a preemie sized outfit on, and it was huge on him!
He was on high oxygen too. What is the deal with that tonight? I hate when they are on high oxygen, especially now that they eye scare is out there. Speaking of the eye scare, we spoke to the parents of the baby that had surgery like Patrick. She said, and I quote "If I ever see that doctor out on the street..ooohhh, I tell you!" I laughed and said "I was just saying that!!"
Peek-A-Boo!
Eating my food too!
Look how big my clothes are! Preemie size!
Have a great day everyone! Happy first day of school to all the kiddies!
Love the Connors!
