Daytime sleepers

Why hello there to all of my friends and family. Guess what, I am posting early tonight. It's 7:00pm. However, you are not going to be able to read it until later, or tomorrow morning, because I can post at any time I want! Hehe, I'm a little trickster! Today we did a day visit. None of the Primary nurses are there tonight, so we decided to go during the day to see the day girls. It was busy in there today, which is why we never go. To much going on! They were sleeping when we got there too, and we had to wake them up. Poor little guys.

Patrick
Patrick was back to his tomato color. He was given blood and platelets today, so he had to have another catheter placed.  It is not in his head, thankfully. He was filling up his diaper like crazy because he received Lasix after his transfusion. He also pooped for me, ewww, but yippee. Are we tired of hearing about his poop yet? Nooooo, hahaha. He is up to 4 ml/hr on his feeds. His blood gasses were really good today after they lowered his vent settings. Once he gets down to 15 on his vent, he will go to CPAP. They may, or may not, do it while he is on his antibiotics. The nurse said that they have switched them while they were on antibiotics before, so we will see. He will be on antibiotics for at least 14 days after his last negative blood culture.
Look at that tongue! He is so silly!
Soon to be a CPAP baby? We'll see!

Brady
Brady is doing well also. He was pale today though. He has been becoming more pale over the last few days. He will probably need blood soon, but they are holding off. His retic count is remaining high, so they are trying to see if he will make the blood on his own. It does make him more tired though. He did have one bradycardia episode last night after we left. He had to be stimulated by his nurse to get him out of it. he seems to come out of it quickly when it happens though which is good. He is up to 7.5 ml of food still, and doing well with it. Apparently he went through three diapers last night, and even had to have his blankets changed because he pooped everywhere! Then he pulled out his tube last night after we left too! This kid, I tell ya!He did get a bath today after all of that!
                                                                           Sleeping like a baby...
Flipped to my belly, loved it, but spit out my Paci. (which we found out were vanilla flavored today.)

Alright kids, have a great day!
Em, Craig and the boys.
