Bolus and bath

Hey there everyone! How is your morning?  I hope all is well.  Lots of things happening in the NICU tonight. The boys are officially two months old!  Yea! Happy Two Month Birthday my loves! I can't even believe it! Well, yes I can. In honor of their two month birthday they get their first presents from the NICU, in the form of shots! They are getting their first vaccines. I know, its a crappy birthday present, but it is what it is.  Their real presents are their first car seats!! Whoo hoo. We can't wait for them to come home and sit in them! Moving on.

Patrick
Patrick started food boluses today. He went from 7.5 ml of formula/milk, to 23 ml of food. Wow. He is really going to bulk up now!  He is doing well on his CPAP.  He officially is signed up for kangaroo care. We tried to to do some snuggling today, but it didn't go well. He was a little fidgety. It was probably a lot, being on CPAP and kangaroo. We will try again another day.

                                                                                Tucked in for the night.

Brady
Brady had a little bath time tonight. Also, he is in big kid diapers! That's right, preemie swaddlers now! Wow, what a big day for them. He is still getting his big boluses like Patrick. He had a ginormous poop today, so his belly went down a lot. He was 3 lbs and 3 ounces tonight. He had a little kangaroo time tonight too, but he was also put back in early. His kept "dsating", so I let him go to sleep.
                                                                                Getting my bath
                                                                                     All warm after my bath
                                                                                       Bath hair

Have a great day everyone!
Em, Craig and the bolus boys!
