So here is the latest news.
Brady
Brady is doing well. He is off of his lights still and only on his Billiblanket. He is still on room air, and on his vent. The nurse was able to flip him over to his stomach tonight. She said that they do well on their stomachs, and it helps their lungs. No transfusions today. His Billirubin went up a little bit. She said it could be because they took the lights away. It wasn't enough to add them back though. He had his umbilical/artery caths removed. Otherwise doing well, but big day tomorrow for the echo.
Sitting up with some help.
Flipped over on his back.
Patrick
Patrick is also doing well. I took his little temperature under his arm, and it was normal. Craig changed his diaper, and like always, he would not stop urinating, haha. Craig did very well! We laughed because he literally has the tiniest tushy, there are like no butt cheeks! He is still on his back. They can't put him on his stomach because of the vent. He did open both eyes during the diaper change. His O2 was up to 36%. He also had his umbilical/artery cath removed.
Resting before the change.
The nurse also mentioned tonight that she thought she overheard them saying that they might try to start feeding them soon. We are not sure if that is true, but that would be awesome. We didn't think that was going to happen for awhile. I will let you all know how tomorrow goes with Brady's echo!
Have a good night all!
Em, Craig and the nuggets!
