Good evening all. Tonight was a quiet night with the boys. They were well behaved tonight, and didn't fight that much during hands on time.
Patrick
Patrick was quiet today. He was very red again when we got there, but it turns out he was just hot. After he was cooled off, he looked nice and calm. He is getting Lasix still. His Fentanyl dose is 1 ml. They have decided not to feed him tonight. He had a little bit of gas in his bowels, so just to be safe, they are going to wait for 48 hours. Better safe than sorry, and we agree with that. His oxygen was 28 when we got there, and his nurse was going to try to get him down to room air. He was at 900grams, but we forgot to look at what that was in pounds. He was flipped onto his belly tonight, and pretty much after that, it was nothing but good sleep.
Quiet in comfy
Trying to sneak a peek
Comfy and cozy
Brady
Brady did well tonight also. He had his eyes open checking us out when we got there. We did a little bath time tonight. He is going to have his bed changed tomorrow, so his nurse didn't want to stress him out all at once tomorrow. He is not really a fan of his bath, but he does love a good hair wash, which is funny. His O2 was down tonight, and the setting on the vent was at 25. His feeding is up to 5.8. He weighed 2.2 pounds.
After bath time
Getting sleepy
and I'm out.....
They both had head scans tonight. The brain bleeds look like they are resolving, which is good news.
Alright kids. I am off to bed.
Have a good day everyone.
Em and Craig
