Comfy, smiling little boys

Good morning to all of our friends. Hope all is well. The boys were having a good night tonight. Brady kept the nurses on their toes by making them put him on his belly. Patrick is keeping the doctors on their toes by keeping down his feedings, and making them consider putting him on a CPAP too. It should be an interesting week.

Brady
Brady is holding steady today. We were happier tonight because he didn't look as pale today. They s=might have to give him blood soon, they are not sure. They are going to see what his blood levels are and go from there. I will let everyone know if we need donations, but if we do, don't do it until you talk to one of us. They misplaced another bag of donor blood, so Craig is going to call and figure out what is happening. His monitor was up and down tonight. He saturation level goes up and down depending on if he is moving, or how he is laying. It is very stressful. He seemed to be in a good mood tonight though, because he smiled for us a lot. I did get it on video, and also some cute pics. He weighed 2 lbs 4 oz. we think. He did well during his hands on. The nurse had to suction his nose and mouth, so we did hear him cry a little. We found out yesterday that he had a little bit of eye discharge in one eye. They did a culture and it came back positive for an infection. They might start him on eye drops.  Otherwise, he seems to be hanging in there.
                                                                      Say cheese!
                                                                           I see you!
                                                                        Smile big for us Brady!
Patrick
There has been a lot of talk about what to do with Patrick's vent. Some doctors like it, some like the vent that Brady is on. Some doctor's say switch him to the other vent, some say keep him on the oscillator, some say CPAP. We have no idea what is going to happen with him. We might come in one day this week, and he might be extubated. Who knows at this point. They have decided to start him on a food cri like Brady. We will see how he handles it. No poop since yesterday, but they are not worried, his belly is soft. He seemed very lazy today, haha. He likes a full belly. He weighed 2 lbs 4 oz,  also, and he measured at 13 1/2 inches I think, but we can't remember, we are tired, haha. Otherwise, he seems comfortable, and was sleeping as soon as he hit his belly. They both had Pacifiers in their mouths when we left. Both were nice and cozy.
                                                                   Hi everyone!
                                                                    Got my paci again
                                                                   Night night Patrick

Good night all!
Em, Craig and the sleepy twins!
