Hi to all. How is everyone? All is well here. Okay, I know everyone was excited this morning, and hoping that Brady was coming home today. He didn't, but we were told he is coming home tomorrow, and to bring the car seat. They called this morning and said that they wanted to keep him one more day to watch his eye. That is okay with us. We don't want it to get infected, so that is okay. The doctor tonight said tomorrow he should be good to go though! They will call us in the morning and let us know when to pick up.
Patrick
Patrick looked good tonight. A few of the nurses said that his color looked good also. He was a little cold tonight, so one of the nurses snuggled him in some blankets fresh from the dryer to warm him up. It was funny, before hands on, he was "sating" in the 90s. During it was in the 70's. In the warm blankets, 90's again. He likes being warm I guess, because she turned down his oxygen too. He gained an ounce more than last night. He took his whole bottle for Craig tonight. Good job buddy!
Dreaming of going home.
I'm cold, put my clothes back on!
Starting to wake up
All warm in my dryer blankets
Brady
Brady looked good tonight. His eye was barely swollen anymore. Craig gave him his eye drops tonight, which was fun to watch. It was like putting drops into a dog eye patient. He could not have been more mad, or more squirmy. The nurse had to do it. he took his whole bottle, then decided he was still hungry, and took another 20 mls more. We tried to breastfeed again. He tolerated that for about 30 seconds. He was 2457 grams, I think. I could be wrong. I have a lot of numbers in my head. He was a burping machine tonight, and the poor kid had the hiccups three times. We took some more pics of the nurses tonight. We also racked their brain for any last minute parenting advice. Hey, we will take what we can get, haha.

Tomorrow is going to be awesome, yet so sad for me. I am so excited to bring Brady home, but I can guarantee crying when I leave Patrick behind. I am tearing up now just writing it. The day they both are home is going to be the best day ever, and I can't wait for it!
Have a good night all!
Love The Connors
