Low oxygen for the boys, that's the way, uh huh, I like it!

Why hello there my little blog followers! How is everyone's morning? I hope all is well. Well, I have to say that when the primary nurses are shift, things get handled! Both boys are on very low oxygen, and are doing very well, or stable. That's right, we don't use "well" anymore. They are very stable right now.  The boys had some visitors tonight. heather from work came to visit with her friend Sarah. They came with presents for the boys too! I hope they had a good time! Alright, roll call...

Patrick
Patrick did very..er..he was very stable tonight. His oxygen was at  26% when we got there. He weighed 1640 grams tonight. Craig almost drowned him when we arrived. His little O2 mask had some moisture in it, and when he flipped him over, it went right into his nose. He did very well with his feeds while Craig held him. He is up to 30 mls! He only had one little episode after his feeds, which seems to be the new thing. He always dsats after his feeds. His primary thought that maybe it could be because of acid reflux. They started him on Zantac to see if that helps.  He was nice and pink tonight. He measured at 38 cm tonight. Craig gave him a bath, and he enjoyed it!
                                                                           Having dinner with my dad!
                                                                               Rocking my doggie outfit!
Sleeping quietly with a full belly!

Brady
Brady hammed it up for his lady friends tonight. He finished his bottle tonight. He took a few breaks while feeding. He had a few good burps. He is up to 35 mls of food.I let his guests pick out his little outfit tonight. He measured at 38 cm tonight also.He weighted 1817 grams I think.  He spared me a dirty diaper tonight, thankfully! All of my pics of him tonight are blurry because he kept moving, and the lights were out. You aren't supposed to use a flash, so unless they stay perfectly still, it is blurry in the dark.
                                                                                      Hi everyone!
                                                                                      Wiggle worm!

So the big news tonight is....the boys met for the first time.  Patrick kind of slept through it, but occasionally opened his eyes, and smiled twice. Brady stared at him the whole time, then touched his face a few times. Everytime he did it, I would say "You are healed!" I can't wait until Patrick is all better and they can hang out together more often. I was excited when they were together, but know when I look at the pics of him touching his brothers face, I completely tear up. I desperatetly want them to know that they have a friend, even though I know they have no idea what that means, haha. I can't wait for the day when they can both sit together, and touch each other, and be like, "Hey, that kid looks like me!" Best friends for life!
                                                                            "You are healed!"
Hopefully no one will get fired for this picture. I will take full blame for it. Please don't tell! I almost didn't post it, but I was so excited!

Today was a big day for the boys gifts wise. We received some unexpected presents form my Aunt Diane, and my friend Aritta, and her daughter Emelie. Thank you all so much! You did not have to do that! You are all so sweet!

Have a great day everyone!!
