Everybody is sleepy tonight.

Afternoon to you all! How is your day today? I hope it is a great one. Not much happened tonight. The boy's grandparents visited them tonight. They were pretty sleepy overall, they have been working so hard to get better that they are tired!

Patrick
Patrick and I had a long time to snuggle tonight. Craig held him last night and he did well, so his nurse let us hold him tonight. He did very well. The highest his O2 was at was 35% during his feed. Otherwise, he was at about 25%. I like 25 %, how about you guys? He didn't have a lot of reflux after his food, but I held him up sternal just in case. I thought I was in the clear, then right at the end, he had got the hiccups. Oh man, we were so close. He was very quiet tonight during snuggle time, which was nice. He was dreaming at one point, because his little eyes were moving along, and he was twitching like I do. He was 3.8 pounds tonight. They are pulling labs tonight, so we will find out in the morning if his platelets went up. If they do, they know what the problem is. If they don't then, they might have to do the tap, or a bone marrow aspirate to find out. If the platelets are lower than 40, then they will transfuse him.
                                                                                  Getting a head rub.
                                                                                     "I'm number 1!"
                                                                                      "I'm Hungry Mom and Dad!"

Brady
Brady spent most of the night with dad. Craig said that he is an even 4 pounds. Brady's nurse was feeding him when I got there. He fell asleep after 1o or so mls of formula. He is getting three bottles a day now, and that is very exhausting for him. They said that they can fall asleep a lot, and lose weight while feeding. They only feed them for 30 minutes, and if they don't finish it, or they get tired after that, they get the rest in the tube again. No big deal. They had him a 1 liter of oxygen today which is good. He was almost on room air.
Having dinner with my nurse tonight!
                                                                                Sleeping with my daddy
                                                                                  Hi everyone!

That's all from the NICU tonight!
Have a happy day everyone!!
