Patrick
Patrick is doing good today. He took all of his bottle with some help from Craig and his nurse. He has been needing some cheek support while feeding. Sometimes he doesn't get good suction while sucking, so you have to help his mouth. He will learn to do it on his own, but he just needs some extra help. He oxygen was low tonight at 26-28% which makes us very happy. He isn't in progressive yet, but if they get any admits, he is the first one on the list of babies to move over. I feel bad for him because as soon as he gets over there, Brady is going to leave him. It sucks. He weighed 4.8 pounds tonight. He is almost growing out of his preemie duds! I can't believe it.
Brady
Brady was good tonight also. He took a little longer to finish his bottle tonight.We had to take a little break in the middle of it to give him a moment. His nurse texted me and said that he took his next bottle in like 11 minutes. She said he woke up super hungry and angry. He weighed 5.2 pounds tonight. He preemie clothes are getting a little small for him. We didn't get a date yet for him to go home. He has to get his eye exams this week, and then they will let us know.
Alright guys. I am off to bed. I can barely keep my eyes open.
