Do you know how much I love you all? So much, that I am sitting here right now blogging at 2:30 am.I have a routine when I get home from the hospital. Pump, eat a snack while, or before, blogging, sleep. Tonight, I came home, pumped, and fell asleep on the couch. What is wrong with me, haha. I did one of those, "I'll just shut my eyes for a second" things. Then your husband wakes you up,,and says :you fell asleep?" I say no, I just shut my eyes for a second. Then in that moment, you realize that you missed half of Conan, and Seinfeld is already half way over. Then he laughs at you. So, I say, I am not going to blog, I am tired. Then I eat three Halloween Oreos, grab a bag of Doritos, and the rest of my Starbucks Shaken Ice Tazo Lemonade, Passion flavor, and I sit my sleepy tushy down. Hey, you have to give the people what they want, right? I am sleeping in until like 3 tomorrow I swear.
Patrick
Patrick was having one of those days. You know, one of those days where you just look at him, and say to yourself, Hey little buddy, I'm proud of you, cause you look goooood. Patrick was looking pretty healthy today. He didn't dsat once while I held him. He was pretty mad too. He was in a deep sleep when we got there, and we woke him up to do his treatments. Once he was up, he was a bit fussy. He wanted to eat right away. Once he got his bottle, he fell back asleep. He almost finished all of it. He just missed the last 8 ml. He did great today with his bottles. He even finished his bottle after his eye exam! What a good little boy. He weighed 4.8 ounces today. He has become quite the little snuggle bug. He loves being held now. They have decided to keep him in his section for a few more days. They are worried that with his little dsat episodes, that he might not get the attention he needs in progressive. That is okay with us. I would rather him be taken extra care of, then overlooked because they are super busy. We found out tonight that Brady's primary nurse said that after Brady leaves, she is going to put down her name as a primary for Patrick too, so he will have 1 primary during the day and 4 at night! Yea! I am not even going to say it, you know I love those nurses!
Before hands on, nice and cozy
Seeing how warm I am
After my bottle
Brady
We heard some news today that Mr. Brady might be coming home this week. Yea Brady! He is doing very well. They are supposedly going to do his car seat test tonight, and see how he does. They are waiting to see how he does on his eye test on Thursday to see if they have become any worse. They are going to give him his first shot for RSV also. If he does well, he will be home this week I believe. We started watching videos while we were there on baby care. We are required to watch the CPR video, which is a great idea. In preparation, we also went out and picked up some last minute stuff. This made me feel totally guilty as we picked up stuff for him, and not Patrick. I teared up a few times. He will be home before I know it though. I figure that this way, I can practice on Brady, and then be an even better mommy for Patrick when he gets home! I will have had a lot of practice by then, so maybe Patrick is the lucky one, haha. Brady was 5.2 pounds tonight. He took his whole bottle tonight. They also changed his orders to ad lib on his amounts. This means he can eat as much as he wants every three hours. He is going to get so big so quick!
The videos put him to sleep
Please mom, don't make me watch them!
I love his silly "oooh" face
Here is an extra pic just for fun.
The triplets
If Brady comes home this week, I officially will join the mommy club called "no sleep." Today and tomorrow are my last days to get as much as I can, because it will soon be over. Craig just out together his bassinet, and is now sleeping on the couch. I am going to shut this place down, and head to bed.
Love you all! Have a great day!
Emily out...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
