We are having a good day today

Hi there to all! I am going to get right to it, because it's 2:15 am and I haven't even showered yet. Welcome to mommy hood right? Okay, so let's get started.

Patrick
Patrick's nurse texted us this morning and said the doctor wrote an order for him to stay on 2 Liters of oxygen instead of 3. He was doing very well, and she said that she thought this was the best night that he has had in a long time. He was "sating" very well, and he was basically on room air last night. They are going to keep him on that to see how he does. Tonight, he was on room air again, and doing well. They had to bump him up to 25% oxygen during feeds, but then was back on 21% after. He seems to be doing well on the 2 Liters. He didn't finish all of his bottle tonight, but they think it is because he is painful. Last night he had a very tiny rash on his tushy about the size of a dime. I guess tonight when the nurse got there, she changed his diaper, and it was a lot worse. This is going to be an awkward picture to paint, so it is best I just post a picture of it.
Sooo, Craig walked into this tonight. We don't know how the air helps, but apparently it works wonders, and they said the rash would probably be close to being gone tomorrow. He literally has an oxygen mask under his diaper hooked to his butt. Oh Patrick, it just never stops for you buddy. Hey, like Craig said, we will get oxygen into to him any way we can right?
                                                                                             Sleepy little man
Look at him, he is growing out of his preemie clothes!

Brady
Brady is doing okay today. He hasn't been fussy at all.  We started him on some Prune juice yesterday to see if that would help his "situation." So far, he has been good. We also have been giving him this stuff called "Gripe Water." It is good for hiccups, and a fussy tummy, which he gets a lot of. It seems to be helping. He has started spitting up a little, so we have been holding him a lot upright. I was praising Lindsay J. today because she gave us a full boppy pillow. He was able to sit up in it, and he didn't spit up at all today.  Thank you Lindsay!
                                                                                                Loving the belly!
                                                                                                      Perfect pillow for him!
Slept great in it! (with supervision of course!)

Alright all! Have a great day!
The Connors
