Hi there everyone. How is your day? Mine has been long. Last night, I finished blogging around 5:30 am. We went to bed after that. At 6:30, I woke up to weird noises, and saw that Brady had regurged bubbles and formula all over his face and hands. He looked like a rabid dog. I got out of bed, cleaned his face, and changed his diaper. I gave hims some tummy settling medicine, and we headed back to bed. Next thing I know it was 8:00am, and we were both wide awake. So, we got up, turned on the tv, and started our day. It just hit me right now as I write this, that I am tired, because I haven't napped all day, and my headache is starting to creep in. After this I will take my nap. I didn't get a lot of pictures of him today because we were trying to clean p a little bit around the house. Plus, he doesn't really do a lot of things, so there is that, haha. He has been having a good day today. He was a little fussy for me this morning. He is in the "As soon as you put me down I am going to cry, but as soon as you pick me up I will fall back asleep" stage. It's cute.....if you don't want to do anything all day.
I like my bottle!
Starting to smirk
Patrick
Have I mentioned that my little Patrick is a chick magnet? He has so many girls that check on him every day. He had three nurses come over and talk to him tonight, and like 5 yesterday. He is so popular for a little man! They all said that he looked very good today. They all felt his color was good, and his head looked like it was filling out. I feel like this week, his body is having an "aha!" moment. Almost like it just figured out what it needs to do to be healthy. He took his bottle for me tonight. It took him awhile but he did it. He is taking a bottle for every feed now. He was 5lbs, 3 ounces. He did lose some weight, but it is because he is feeding on bottles every time now. It is very tiring for them, so they expect that. He had his eye exam today. The doctor called today and said he was very pleased with the results so far, and he feels the shot is working well. They have him marked as a grade 0, which is awesome. Finally some good luck for him! They turned him down to 2 liters instead of three. He is doing very well on his oxygen, and they wanted to see how he would do on a lower rate. He was doing well when I left. They said he might get to come home in a few weeks. Yea!
I loved my paci tonight!
Sleeping so nice!
I dropped my pacifier!
Can't stop laughing at this picture!
Alright then kiddies. Until tomorrow!
Love you all!
