Hi there everyone. I was so excited to blog last night because I had lots of pictures to put up. However, by the time I came home, I had such a headache that I took some meds and laid down. I am hoping that I am not getting sick. That would suck. Patrick has a had a busy night, and day.
Patrick
Patrick was having a good night last night. He was off of his oxygen all day, and then he stayed off all night. He really didn't even "dsat" after his feeds that much. I am hoping that this is a good sign, and that we won't have to take him home with oxygen. That would be great. When I called today, they said he was still off of the oxygen, and was doing well. He did well on his feeds last night. He drank his whole bottle. The added some oat cereal to his formula for his acid reflux. They said that is is heavier and will stay down. I guess they usually use rice cereal, but they said there is a big thing out right now that they are finding arsenic in rice cereal. That is scary, right!? They said that he is doing well with it, and we noticed last night while drinking it, that he didn't need as much chin and cheek support. Speech Therapy said that to help him, we can rub his cheeks, and rub the top of his mouth to help him eat also. They did switch his feeds to 22 calories, which is what they send him home on. He was up to 5 pounds 12 ounces. He is getting so big! He had an MRI done today. I won't know the results until later though. It is to check his brain bleeds and to make sure the PVL isn't any worse. We are hoping that the PVL is the same, and that he won't have any more future problems. We will find out tonight hopefully. Other than that, it looks as if he is getting closer to coming home soon. I am thinking maybe a week and half to two weeks I bet. Also, he picked up another primary during the day. Yea!

We decided to dress him up for Halloween. Everyone has been wearing their Halloween scrubs, so we didn't want him to be left out.
Brady
Brady is doing good. He is eating like a champ! He had a good night with grandma. He had to go to his first pulmonology appointment today. He had to get his second Synagis shot. I guess he has to get one, once a month until February. He was not pleased with it. He id his silent cry again. It's awful. He even got his first cartoon band-aid. It was a Halloween Charlie Brown. He didn't care, haha. He did well though otherwise. They weighed him today at the office., He was 7 pounds and 12 ounces. Holy crap! He is getting so big too! I can't believe how much the two of them have grown!

Just being silly!
Alright all, that is it for today. I will have some MRI results tonight hopefully. Pray they are good ones!
Later skaters!
Em, Craig, and our growing boys.
