Hi all! How is everything? Well we have had an okay day today. Let's see where to start. Let's start with Patrick today.
Patrick
Craig went to go see Patrick tonight, and said that he looked good. He was on 22% oxygen tonight. He had to be turned up a little bit during his feeds, but did okay otherwise. He was at 25% when Craig left. He drank all of his bottle tonight for him. They said he did good throughout the day, but only took around 30 for some of them. The nurses are pleased with how he looks. Brady's second and third primary said they couldn't believe how much the boys were starting to look alike. Patrick's first primary texted me this morning to let me know that he did well over night. His blood work looked good, and he seemed to be improving. He did well with his bottle at 3 am too. He weighed 5.2 pounds still. He is still in acute progressive. I know, I can't believe it either, haha. I am hoping his is taking a turn for the better. I can't wait to have him home. Tomorrow is ret cam day, so we will see how he looks tomorrow. Thursday will be his next eye exam, hopefully his eyes look good!
Hi dad, I'm ready for you!

Brady
My poor Brady. He actually wasn't as fussy today as he was the two days before. I woke up and called the pediatrician this morning because he still hadn't pooped yet. We are gong on 4 days. The recommended the same things, but said we could rectal stim a few times daily. We tried, and tried, and then tried again. We had a very small result. He hasn't been eating as much the last day, and I know it's because he is uncomfortable. We said if he didn't go by the time Craig got back from the hospital, he was going to get the Glycerin again. So, I gave him a bottle, and laid him down. We caught up on our shows, mainly Once Upon a Time, and patiently waited for results. Nada. Craig got home, and we gave the meds. Within 5 minutes...well let's just say it was like a rumble in the jungle, and the jungle was his diaper. Finally! It was 4 days worth for sure. I know he feels better now, and we do too. On a more fun note for him, we decided it was time to get him a swing. He liked the one in the NICU, so we figured it might help us out. He loved it. He fell asleep right away. This is a win win. He likes it, and it gives us a chance to do some stuff around the house. We had been holding him a lot lately because he didn't feel good, but this freed us up for a few minutes. This month is when all of appointments start. We have a pediatrician and eye appointment his week, and next week starts rehab. His rehab card says we will see them twice a week. They are going to recheck his bladder too this week, just to make sure everything is working. It should be a busy month!

Brady and I, writing the blog for you at 130am. He had just had dinner, I had just showered. It was pajama time for both of us.
Alright everyone, have a great day!
