Doctors, doctors everywhere!

Good afternoon everyone. So, last night, I get myself all ready to write the blog. I go over to get the computer, and realize it is almost dead. Well, that's annoying. I plug it in, and go to sit down to look at the pictures for the blog/ Then Brady gets fussy because he wants to eat. Okay, I;ll just feed him, and then the computer should have some power. Perfect. I feed him, then lay him down. Does he fall asleep, no. I hold him for a little bit. He finally lays down. I sit back for a minute just to make sure he stays asleep. That was my mistake. I woke up around 5 am. Oh no! I didn't write the blog! Uggh, what is wrong with me?! Sorry everyone, I am a real slacker lately.  It's actually better though, because then I just had more stuff to talk about.

Patrick
Patrick did okay last night. He didn't eat all of his bottle for Craig. His nurse was able to get more into him later on. He is a whole 6 pounds now! Yeah! What a big man! He stayed off oxygen all night because he was "sating" in the high 90's to 100. He was doing really good. They did put him on his cannula, on and off, for about 3 hours in the morning. he had his eye exam, a speech exam, and his rehab. They said he seemed a little stressed out afterwards, so they did it just to be safe. The eye doctor said that his eyes looked good still, and that we will continue with every two week appointments. We got a call from the speech therapist this morning. They said they wanted us to come in this week so they could show us some exercises. His tongue sticks out more than it should when he eats, so it takes him longer to take the bottle. Sometimes he makes a mess. They are going to give us tips on how to help him. I would imagine that we might have to follow up with them later on after he leaves.  Speaking of leaving, we may have a go home date! That's right, he may be coming home soon! They are thinking middle of the week. I am so excited! They just have to make sure that he keeps eating, and that his o2 remains stable. Besides that he seems to be doing good.

Amanda and Patrick (First primary during the day)

Brady
Brady is doing good. He seems to be less fussy the last two days, which has been nice. He seems to want his bottle, but then cries when you give it to him. He is confused, haha. He had a good night last night. he slept well. We actually were able to sleep in the bed, and not the couch. Today was not such a good day for him. He had a pediatrician appointment today, and uh oh, had to get shots! He had to get three shots, and then he had a drinkable one. He was not happy! He was a big 8 pounds today. Well, he had his diaper on, so probably just at 8 pounds.  He gets Bugs bunny band-aids today. They said he looked very good, and is in the 50th percentile for his adjusted age. He is right where he should be. He doesn't have to go back for two months. That will be one less appointment next month.
This is what he did for each bottle yesterday. He was being so dramatic! Hahaha
                                                                                 After his shots, not pleased.

Alright guys, more later tonight!
Em, Craig, and the boys.
