Getting closer

Hey all. How's it going? All is good here today. We are having a good day today with the boys.

Brady
Brady is doing well at home, and loves being held by everyone. He also loves his boppy more than life itself. Craig decided to give him some tummy time on his boppy lounger, and he slept for hours. He loves his belly, it was his favorite in the NICU. He is eating around 120 mls of food now, and is starting to want more. He is getting so big already! I can't wait to see how much he weighs this week.
He didn't really do a lot today, which is fine with me. He had been up a lot this week, must be the different schedule with grandma here.
If it wasn't already Patrick, he would claim this boppy as his best friend!
                                                                                  No pictures...I'm sleeping...
                                                                                    Everyone loves a good nap

Patrick
Patrick was having a good day today too. His butt still looked sore, but was much better. When we left we put the oxygen back on it, it seems to help a lot. He drank his bottle today in about 20 minutes. He had speech therapists come by this morning to evaluate him. They showed his nurse how to help him nipple better for his feeds. She is going to show us tonight how to do it. His nurse tonight just texted us and said that he took his whole bottle without any cheek or chin support which is great. He dsated a little bit tonight after his feed for awhile. I wish he would get over that. The resp. therapist cleaned his nose out just in case to see if that would help him.  They also did a recheck head ultrasound on him today. They said that it looked the same, and that the brain bleeds were not any worse, I guess that means that it looks like it has resolved. He said that he can still see the debris spot where it was, but otherwise it is okay. They still have to do an MRI before he leaves. I am not looking forward to that one, because I am terrified that they are going to tell me that his PVL is worse. I pray that it's not. Besides that he seems to be holding steady today which is great. The only thing holding him back is his O2, and his feeds. He will probably be there for a few more weeks. I am guessing the end of October. It's been 4 months almost, I can't wait for him to be home already.
Why did you wake me up!
I'm hungry now that you bothered me!
                                                                                           Hang time with my mommy
                                                                                           Giving myself chin support

Alright everyone. Hope you all have a great day. I am off to bed, I am head bobbing already.

Love The Connor Fams
